the problem with a sexually explicit, blood gurgling, extended play music video like Baise Moi is the impact it may well have on still soft minds. most people between the ages of 10 and 20 don't yet have a firm grip on their own identity, and they look to find role models in the world. not everyone who sucks in the jerk off fantasy land of Baise Moi will turn into a maniac killer, but even fans of the movie admit, it sure as hell doesn't say much about conflict resolution. there is plenty of evidence verifying that media input shapes behavior. If Baise Moi shapes to many young minds, we might all regret the film ever saw the light of day

    Why all the aggro?

I really don't understand everyone's problem with *Baise-Moi*. Yes, some children could see it on DVD or video, but isn't that true of any other film? Children could get their hands on hardcore porn, and far worse movies than this. More to the point though, this movie does have a message... Although plot line is pretty thin on the ground, the basic 'moral' (if you can call it that) is that there are 2 women that have been so abused by society (and men) that they go on a killing frienzy to redress the balance! And I can't see that this film would do anyone harm... Could it?!?
