    Response to this comment:
    former insider

As a former player, 78 -80, and grad of WHS, I have not lived in Massillon since graduation. When I exited the theater I looked for reaction of the patrons who watched, some in dis-believe, that a town could place so much energy toward a high school football team. As an outsider, I agree. The values placed on being an individual during his playing days, in my opinion, are not constructed in any way shape or form that can be used in adult life. On the other hand, I must say I left the movie proud to say I was raised, and played in Tigertown, USA. So I guess the doc got me to think more than I expected, good job Ken Carlson !
