We saw this movie last night, on my brother's recommendation cuz it was filmed in Parkersburg, WV. I am still talking about it and thinking it over... thank you Steven Soderbergh for stepping out of lock step w/ Hollywood. The movie showed the "real" America, people working 2 jobs, caring for elderly parents, and living in their own dramas. It was a great movie, a fascinating concept to use non professional actors, the low budget made it all the more real. I didn't like the abrupt ending....I wanted more, like a trial and all. Maybe I've been watching too much Law and order. Bravo Mr. Soderbergh!

    Great film

This is a fantastic film that makes use of real people, real lives, genuine dialogue, and honest emotion. The three main characters are mesmerizing in their squalid normalcy, and the plot is one that really hits upon the horror of the everyday. Oh, and Misty Dawn Wilkins is worthy of more screen-time in the future.
