Reader comments on Nancy Rexroth: Iowa

    Subject: my home

I came accross the book "IOWA" in the Kansas City Art Institue library where I was earning my BFA in 1998. I was struck, not only by the beauty of her photographs, but that they were centering around Grandview, Iowa. My family has lived in that town since the button mills were established there at the turn of the century. I visited my great aunt and grandparents there when I was a girl. My photographic work has a similar quality as Rexroth's and I was intersted in the parallel in our works as well as our lives. I'm sure my family knows Ms. Rexroth's family. I would be interested in what she is doing now.
