    Dave Foley is not exactly known for serious material... he's a comedian by trade and nature, and clearly he knew the intended audience would know it was SATIRE on stage and not an attempt at rewriting known history. :rolleyes:

    How nice for the playwright to use O'Hair's name recognition to get people interested in the play, and then presenting her as a crook when in fact she was kidnapped and murdered.

    All the play does is demonstrate that the playwright, like many others, assumed the worst of O'Hair's character, and when the inconveninet truth came out, ignored it and went on with the show.

    It's unethical - but since when do people in the theatre give a rat's ass about ethics, when their own self-promotion is involved?
