The rape secene si perfect. I think that she has a woderful body and a sexy butt, and thats why the guy rape her anally. Anal sex is very common between a man and a girl, and she's very sexy.

Re: homophobia?
I'm a straight guy, but would not consider myself homphobic as I have gay friends, this film was not all about gay bashing despite the fact I found the S&M club as disgusting as the rape, if not more so. The perverted imagery and sexual violence - the masochist shouting fiste moi, and masturbating as the guy is about to be raped. As the fetichists sit in gross amazement when the guy's skull is destroyed, jesus..
But Noe justifies the violence as showing the real side of crimes we read about everyday and have become passe and unaffected by almost when we read of them...
I can see how that justifies the rape scene in its ferocity, although Noe himself says Le Tenia is a cartoon character almost too evil... but then sadistic rapes are very much like that, having done criminal psychology sexual psychopaths do have that hatred and wish to degrade.
I think the anal rape - as its anal it can get into men's heads quote by Noe - is after the club attempted rape a good point, he makes the male audience live through what would have happened if Pierre hadn't killed his would be rapist, a brutal gang rape by sadists. It strikes fear into me as man what would have happened if Pierre hadn't intervened, and for that men experience the fright I imagine women do in the rape scene.
