    Subject: The film 'Yes'

I think 'Yes' is one of the best movies I have ever seen.It was shown on TV when I was in Tunisia and feel so lucky that I saw it because otherwise would have completely missed it. I have of course now bought it on DVD. Simon Akbarian,Joan Allen, Shirley Henderson and all the other actors are fantastic. What I love best and really makes this film stand out for me is the way it is written in rhyming verse which is often almost un-noticed but somtimes half heard and helps the viewer to hear what is being said with more clarity than usual. Both the love story and the reflections on culture, religion, race and society are presented in an interesting way.
