another reminder of the imperfect endings that are the reality of life. artfully done. i disagree with the constant parallelisms being made between this film and that of pulp fiction. perhaps they are similar in plot presentation, but many films haven take this approach. my feelings after watching pulp were very different from after watching amores. pulp had cinematography more fitting to portraiture or painting compositions. amores had a more reality tv feel. i also felt that pulp's storyline was more "fictional" and entertaining, whereas amores struck me as more truth to life. i don't mean to put down the genius that is pulp fiction. i just mean to clarify why i feel that people are not so acurate in their classification of amores perros as a latin pulp fiction. okay, that's my rant, thanks for reading.

    Amores perros

Forget love being a bitch, what about hollywood
    the mother of all bitches.

The hollywood that brings us constant shit, rather than using the brains we all know it's got to make something as brilliant as Amores Perros.

Forget best foreign film of recent years what about best film of recent years full stop.
