    Accidental viewing

i stumbled across this film late night on channel 4 and started watching what seemed to be an awful film. However being that i am some what of an insomniac i persevered (only get 5 channels in uk!!) and lo and behold this film grew on me like a fungus, and by the end of it i was so excited that i had to stay up all night waiting to see if anything else as worthy would appear on tv. Sadly that was it for the night but thank you Mr Figgis, i thoroughly enjoyed this film, it was a real shock to the system and an exercise of the senses (at times overloading, but in a good way) i would reccomend this film to anyone with an interest in pushing the boundries, anyone who is looking for something different and exciting and wholly satisfying. And the soundtrack is pretty decent too, if you can find a way, check out the last song Comfort of Strangers performed by skin (of Skunk Anansie) you will find it haunting and memorable, much like this entire piece of work
so a thumbs up from me!!
