I totaly agree with you, this guy was obviously disturbed and thought (by his own statement) that he was the "king of the bears" and that the bears would not kill him. These are animals not people they do not think emotionally. When the bear is getting close to hibernation cycle it does not matter who or what you are if they think you are a food source you are dead.

Besides from being a terrible film, this Tim guy was contributing to the further destruction of wildlife. When I am in the mountains I respect the rules of nature enough to not even feed the pesky ground squirrels that come up to me for food when I rest. An animal is an animal. It is wired to respond to food, same as you train a dog. I fail to realize how he is preserving an animal that is in a national preserve. Hunting and regulations imposed by the government are there to ensure that this country doesn't make the same mistakes that it did once before. This guy was no different than a random jackass feeding bears out the window of his car in Yellowstone.
