I read an article that Truman DID INDEED have an issue with his finger nails and felt he "deserved" to keep whatever he touches with him. There are reports that he also didn't wipe himself very well after utilizing the restroom NOR wash hit hands, as reported by close friends.

Me and my friend Marvel were totally disgusted by "the dirty fingernails". It detracted from the movie and I could no longer believe the movie. Can anyone shed any lihgt on this as it is driving us crazy!
