Subject: positive impressions for strong subject matter
Date: Jul 20, 2006
A friend told me about the powerful movie, 'September Tapes' filmed in Afghanistan. I rented it at Blockbuster's and was emotionally swept up in the story. The young screenwriters, Christian Van Gregg and Chris Johnson created a strong, thought-provoking movie. I particularly liked the story behind 'Making of the Movie'. What courage for these young people to enter an active war zone post 9/11 to search for Osama Bin Laudin. Why has it not had wide distribution in the U.S? It seems so topical for today.
