    Subject: What the Bleep
    Date: Jun 8, 2006
    Sender: sihemPrevious | Next

Everyone talks a whole lot about freedom as the achievement of our "superior western existence" and it is the same "people" who given any chance for liberation wouldn't know what to do with it and start claiming the status quo of various dependancies, and watch it that is at at any cost. I liked the movie. Yes I was already drawn towards a certain type of conceptual speculations before I watched it, and I do believe that maybe it is people with my same inclinations that got the most out of it. But the hole big hunger and name calling and swetting ...is a bit like the dan brown phenomenon that is happening now. Anyway...Quantum phisics is still an infant, the abrahamic religions can't work for the contemporary man,so can't aristotelic philosophy and euclidean space, West is been looking for answers into the East since a long time ago. And there we are imerged into terms like VOID, ENLIGHTMENT, CONSTANT CHANGE, BREATHING UNIVERSE, COMUNICATIVE WATER, INDETERMINATE EXISTENCE, WILL POWER, and I could go on forever naming what some of you are calling New Age ideas. Yes it is New Age literally though. I could also say it is Bruno, Galilei, Newton, Nietsczhe, Schopenhauer, Feuerbach, Baader, Einstein and Bohr and so many more. Are the echoes of those people who were not happy with what was given to them as true and had no fear to try new ideas and contemplate new possibilites. What is innovative? Not what states the last ultimate truth (can't even say that without cringing), BUT what inspires others to new innovative ideas. No one has the tangible truth, not the science of reason or any mysticism around the world. The movie is a way of thinking, new way of thinking, that yes it is becoming very popular, but the reason is not in the media but in changes occuring within our societies. What is wrong with the fact that some director has an opinion, or vision, and finds the support for his theory between the millions that surround us, and makes a movie about it when he can, which sells and upsets a lot of people, and than sells more. Brain washing??? Pseudiscintific? Do we have in mind the same science or truth or reality?? I do not think so!
With the ease of comunication comes faster and wider strumentalisation but I would'n spend too much time fearing from movies and books. I fear most our presidents, and the wars and the fame...and if someone out there is trying to make things better, spread the message use the media, strumentalise what is already known and than yes we will then one day have another revolution/evolution.

Re: this movie is pseudoscientfic propaganda piece

They don't want you to be led to a belief that you can be the cause of your life..your reality, by realizing that EVERYTHING is a choice that you are responsible for..even if you don't realize it...as they don't 'believe" it is possible.
It is actually the very first lesson in Genesis.
