I don't know what to say about the film, it's something you just have to see and figure out for yourself. Some movies, as Ebert once said about Greenaway's "Prospero's Books", stand outside criticism. When it hits the DVD market I'll buy it just to preserve a copy, in case no one else does or something. But I don't know if I'll watch it again; that doesn't mean I don't like it - I can't stand to watch "Jacob's Ladder" either, but I think it's one the best films ever made. The images are just too horrible to inflict on myself. I'm hard pressed to recall a scarrier image that the spirals in the clouds in this film. Whew, a fever dream.
Anyway, the techno rock song covering the end credits - anyone know the group? The credits are in Japanese, so . . . email appreciated, tx.
