I had the pleasure of seeing Verbatim performed for the second time and was literally blown away by Giarna Te Kanawa's performance and interpretation of the six characters she presented. I knew she would be good but the depth and enjoyment she revealed in each character went beyond my expectations - and they were very high expectations! Although I was thrilled to read her deserved review on this web site, I am really disappointed that such a major element as the play's country of origin was incorrectly stated as being Australia! The relationship between Australians and New Zealanders has nothing to do with it - the simple fact is that the play is from New Zealand and the review should be corrected immediately!! I imagine Americans would be slightly annoyed if one of your Olympic gold medal winners was headlined 'accidentally' as being Canadian!

Please stop confusing these two Antipodean countries and show me how diligent you are by changing the 'necessaries' in your review!

    Yours in Anticipation,

    Kylie Mouat, Director

    Platform Productions, Western Australia

Editor's note: Australia corrected to New Zealand in article.
