1) I have no idea what the chair symbolizes
2) I don't think the coins symbolize anything, just that they are part of the story. Hank finds them and they lead to his lobotomization, so Gordon is spooked when he sees that Phil has one too - Does Phil know what I did? (Gordon)
3) Mary and Gordon's stories are linked because they were both possessed by Simon
4) Gordon's wife is dead. As is his baby, Emma, and the dog.
5) Mary, after being scared by her brother Peter on Christmas night in Lowell, kills her brother and her Parents at Simon's suggestion. She kills Peter to get even with him for scaring her and making her fall on and break her China doll, thereby scarring her face and chest. She then kills her parents to prevent them from being upset with her at her killing Peter.
6) I don't remember this
7) Simon possessed Mary, who later died at the hospital somehow. I guess Simon was just hanging around the hospital waiting for someone else to possess
Hope you enjoyed this movie, because I loved it.
