The problem about something you call shame, of what every Serb (as u put) should be aware, is that most of inoccent Serbs wich are not involved in war, and not involved in any kind of nationalistic political idealism, feel sorry for every human being treated unhumanly. But what for? Why should i be ashamed of crimes i havent commited? Just because some brainwashed war-dog comitted in Bosnia? And whome should i have apollogize? Wake up! I got better things to do. The real problem is stucked deep down in history. And both sides were the victims of theirs own nationalistic propaganda during the war. The only difference between two sides is that Serbs lost the war in media!!! And that concernes the film we are talking about.
What i am trying to do right now, is to help you not to stay brainwashed political-animal, because i see that you are not such stupid as you seems... that makes you same as brainwashed war-dogs with a difference that they spilt blood, and you provide just hate, packed in political opinion. The point is that your oppinion is contradictive: the topic you presumed is that Serbs are great propagandists. If that is true, you would be a victim of theirs propaganda, as most people on west are. If they are "great propagandists" they would not be bombed at 1999. and they would never alow to be called war-criminals. Dont you get it yet? And Kosovo is heart of Serbia since XIII century, when Albanians were tribe-clan-race wich didnt exist in Europe. Great old monuments and monasterys are witnesses of that history. But Albanians keep on burn them, with no media reactions. How come? If the Serbs are "great propagandists" as you put, why the medias never emitted those facts. But i could give you private history lessons some other time. Dont botter your self.

PS And what i think that film is about, also, is to represent power of medias, to create opinions of political idiots like you are, who would generate hate and point it in "democratic" goals of few powerfull people above, while you think that you are so progressive and humanized. And victims will allways be inocent people, who just want to live their lifes in peace, with no necessity of politic.
PS And by the way, Milosevic did damage to his own people and his own country, more than any other beside. He did worster damage for 10 years, more than Turks did for 500!!! By the way, that is one more thing, wich could make your miserable soul happy.

Hello all,
Serbian nationalists really are great propagandists. I don't know of any other cause that at the same time manages to present itself as anti-imperialist/ leftist while in actuality sleeping with some of the most reactionary and right wing elements in Western societies. Pat Buchanan meets Alexander Cockburn. Their Western apologists claim to be anti-war but not when their kalashnikov-wielding slivovitz sipping darlings are making war. However, their lies tend to wear off with time. Now, they're stewing in their own sauce, as Kosovo and Montenegro prepare for independence. I'm glad to see them lose everything they wanted to take away from their victims. It looks like justice sometimes prevails, if only partially. Mazel tov Josh for doing such a thorough job exposing these people for what they really are, a bunch of pseudo-intellectual apologists for genocide. They should truly be ashamed of themselves. I do not dispute the suffering of Serb refugees from Croatia, but to portray their trials in such a way is truly a cheapening of their plight. Jake.
p.s. It always struck me as awkward that Serbs supported the creation of independent statelets for their populations in Croatia and Bosnia (i.e. Krajina, Republika Srpska) while denying the Kosovars the same right. Never in Bosnia's history did the Serbs have autonomy, and the question of Krajina's historical autonomy is also suspect. On the other hand, Kosovo was made up of several vilayets that did possess some regional independence. According to the Serbian nationalist logic, Kosovars should have a much greater right to their own state than the Krajina Serbs. You can't have a double standard now, can you?
